Olguin setting wall tile to a laser line, levelling clips fitted

I started Olguin Tile Services in New Bern in 2024 after years of setting tile for other people. The reason was simple: too many jobs were being rushed, and the parts that get covered up — the prep, the waterproofing — were the parts getting skipped.

So this is a small operation on purpose. I quote the job, I install the job, and I am the one who answers when you call afterward. That limits how much work I can take at once, and it is the trade I would rather make.

How I work

Straight answers at the estimate. If tiling over your existing floor is a bad idea, I will say so, even though it is less work for me.
Written quotes. What is included, what is not, and what would change the number. No surprises halfway through.
Photos of what is underneath. When demo reveals something, you see it before it gets covered back up.

Your house gets protected. Floors covered, dust controlled, the site swept at the end of every day rather than at the end of the job.
Realistic dates. Cure times are real. I would rather give you a date I can hit than one that sounds better.
I pick up the phone. Until 8pm, most days. That alone puts me ahead of most of the trade.
